Life is strange is a good game yes I know applause to me it totally hasn't been restated a million times but it's a game about trauma basically. the trauma of Max seeing Chloe die Caused Max to be able to do the superhuman power of turning back time. trauma is a theme in all life is strange games (at least LIS 1&2 and Before The Storm) The trauma of the dad dying in life in strange 2 caused the shockwave from the main character trauma And my theory is the brain is the reason why they have these powers Another great example not from life is strange is the anime erased erased is about a young man after seeing his mother killed travel back in time to the 80s to stop a serial kidnapper And in the end he does kind of do it he does save his mother but at the cost of him being in a coma for the next 20 plus years
